This is an outstanding property. Our corner studio apt was of an excellent size with terrific views, in different directions, of green pastures, mountains and sea; the twin beds were comfortable; the kitchenette was well equipped; and the bathroom had plenty of on-demand hot water. Rui, the owner, was a charming and warm host throughout our stay and made us feel so welcome, just as though we were personal friends. His staff were all delightful. The breakfasts he prepared had everything we could desire, including fresh fruit, local cheese, tasty breads (including bolo levedo), his mother’s home-made jams, juice, excellent coffee, and more. Really enjoyed the on-site restaurant where we had several meals other than breakfast – all well-prepared and of excellent value in a very appealing space. The building itself is a fun piece of architecture with great design quality and execution. The location, across the street from the Atlantic, and on the edge of town was ideal and quiet. Private parking. Highly recommended.
